This is Us Nosotras Waguia is a grassroots coalition of Garífuna women from Central America, united in Houston, Texas. We are daughters of resilience, carriers of tradition, and builders of a future where every Garífuna woman can rise with strength, pride, and purpose.

Born from a shared need for representation and empowerment, our organization focuses on cultural preservation, education, health, and leadership. We are not just a group — we are a movement rooted in unity, guided by heritage, and committed to equity.
